This website http://www.afterdawn.com/ was basically made as a guide to consumer electronics buyers.
Based in finland, europe, there are about fourteen people working on bringing in the latest news from the gadget and the consumer electronics world.
You can find guides, a glossary for technical terms, they even have a download page for all levels of users, it even contains open sourse downloads.
The site is available in english, finnish, and swedish.
It contains a forum, and a place where you can sign up and create your own profile.
